"The property was in the middle of nowhere but still easy to find, especially in the dark. I switched to this place at the last minute and we were mostly glad we did. The staff was wonderful and the homemade bread and jam was fabulous. Our bathroom sink and tub were not draining very well so we had to be careful about that. "Very first time in a hostel type hotel. I booked a room with a 'small bathroom' heads up - that means there's a tiny sink in the room, you still share a shower/bathroom down the hall. Small kitchen to use and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. We got there and used the hot tubs had wine right away after a long day. "Quiet, comfortable stay on a farm that was just outside of Vik and close to Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. There are 5 rooms with a shared kitchen, sitting area and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were modern and spacious, and even though they were 'shared,' there was always at least one open whenever needed. The other guests were quiet and considerate, so we would definitely stay here again."
