"This Wingate was very comfortable and clean, with hard flooring for my pet-friendly room - better than carpeting. For one of the least expensive hotels in Gunnison, it was excellent. Comfortable beds, clean and plenty of linens, and upon my request, they provided cotton sheets rather than the microfiber bedding I dislike. Excellent customer service. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, well-lit room, with a free hot breakfast (waffles, eggs, muffins, bagels, juices, coffees) I recommend...

"We had a wonderful stay here driving through colorado to enjoy the fall leaves. The guy at the front desk (pretty sure he is the owner) was so kind and took the time to show us great areas to do our leaf peeping. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Nice location. Friendly staff. Views are not great - we have been placed twice in a room that looks out into the neighboring building that is very close to the property. Nice showers but no bathtub. Coffee in unit but no creamer. S'mores are a nice touch. Hot tub was lukewarm and closed earlier than ideal. But a nice option for crested butte"
