"Our second stay at this property and despite it being just before a refurbishment this time, it was a lovely experience with plenty to do for the kids, easy to access other parts of the island and courteous staff that made it easy to holiday there as a single parent. The gym facilities are ok but not great - they did just fine with some creativity. Some confusion initially with dining as it wasn't clear that there was a team that worked out seating for you - their access point was a bit hidden...

"Our flight was delayed and did not arrive until after midnight. The receptionist stayed back and was very helpful on arrival. Throughout the stay the property was well maintained, cleaned and room service could not be faltered. All staff were always welcoming and friendly. It is in a very quiet location but only 10 minute walk to the promenade. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back."

"First time at the Ilunion Costa Sal and we were not let down. The hotel is excellent, clean and well maintained. The room was clean and functional for our stay. We found the food to be excellent with a good choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The hotel team are great and couldn’t do enough for us. Well located in Matagorda with a great range of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk. There are a couple of supermarkets close by and a small shop on site. The pool area is...
