"The evening desk clerk was very patient, attentive, and comforting to me after a long winding drive on back roads in the dark. He explained the particular traffic conditions in front of the hotel to increase my safety awareness. The room was immaculate, with the exception of fingerprints on the clear stand for tv guide holder. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, if needed, and give recommendationto anyone planning to visit. It's a good stay for the price."

"Our first time at SML did not disappoint. Cabin was comfortable for the 3 of us and our pup. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy them on the deck. We spent a lot of time at the dock/floating dock relaxing, reading, swimming (yes it was cold!!), and soaking in the sun. We brought our canoe and paddleboard and the quiet no wake cove was perfect for paddling and exploring. A great place to unwind and get away from it all. Two things to note: bring sheets and towels and need to take the trash to the convenience center (about 7 mins away). Neither one affected the quality of our stay. Definitely recommend and looking forward to visiting again."

"On her 80th birthday my wife wanted to include all 6 of our kids (w/ partners) for up to 6 days, as our guests! The 9 bedrooms were great, as was the layout, especially w/ the attached two houses with a pool in between! "
