"Property was nice and cottage was nice. The walkway from the cottage to the hot tub/dock could be improved as it was very rocky, sloped and not very wide due to weeds growing. Could have easily slipped and fell there. The dock was very nice although the ladder to get in/out of the water was unusable as 3 out of 4 bolts had rotted out of the wood. We had to get in and out of the water climbing on the rocks which were a bit slick so that wasn’t ideal. Overall the property was nice and the location...

"Amy was wonderful host and ambassador for the Port Carling/Muskoka area making some great suggestions as to sights to see. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus!. Any hicups we had were quickly addressed and corrected. One of the best features was sitting on the large dock with a refreshment in hand and watching the antique boats cruising by, all in all a great location for a relaxing holiday, thank you Amy, "

"Beautiful property. Great set up for a large family. Ensuite bathroom is a real plus. Wet clean. Host replied promptly. Ours was a winter get away so you have to drive everywhere. Late check in and early check out tough with young kids. Would be a fun place in summer close to the water. "

"I rented Pat and Morley’s cottage for my birthday weekend with a group of friends. Though there was a big snow storm, Morley made sure to keep in touch with me and ensured the driveway was plowed and safe for us before we left. Both the main cottage and bunkie were fantastic – clean and well stocked with linens and towels. The sauna was great too, would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the water! "

Great cottage in a private setting with great swimming- shallow sandy-bottomed water for the youngsters, but deep off the dock. However: 1/ the yellow floatie thing on the beach and the blue-topped cabana in the background of the photo of the property don't exist. 2/ lower bunkbed is unusable due to lack of support for the mattress 3/ BBQ is past its prime: works, but on its way out. Lid falls off if you're not...

"The property was just as described and Dorothy was terrific. While we stayed at her property, we were hit with a large ice storm and despite power for certain things being knocked out, the generator ensured we had lights, refrigeration and hot water. "This beautiful cottage is on a beautiful property with excellent privacy. It has all of the necessities and canoe,paddle board and kayak. It is a gem. The wraparound deck with the large hammock was a favourite of ours during our stay. The dock was reached with ease and was very large with lovely views of the lake. I experienced ease of communication with the rental process. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Paula"

"The view is magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We only used the upstairs so can’t speak to the lower level. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own top sheet. Location was perfect for exploring the area. Sunroom and deck and floating deck were all really nice! There is a train that goes by but it didn’t bother us at night because we had 2 fans and a sound machine on. We would stay here again! Loved it. "
