"Ari and Mark did a wonderful job making us feel welcome at their cute bed and breakfast. The location is convenient to the downtown area of Sayville and the train stop. The amenities were comfortable, clean, and tidy and the bathroom had lots of hot water at a good water pressure. Each morning, we enjoyed the good conversation and continental style breakfast, especially the baked goods. The items on the extended breakfast menu were very delicious as well. We plan on staying there the next time...

"Gave an extended weekend trip to my sister and brother in law for their 59th birthdays. They had an amazing relaxing time. They are repeat visitors at the Palms because it is second to none on Ocean Beach. Bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas provided making it stress free. Staff is always accommodating including assisting with luggage at the dock. They took their own boat and the staff still met them and assisted. They had one glitch, the AC in their room suddenly went out (which is unfortunate but it happens). With no stress, they were moved to a cottage which was a substantial upgrade. Management is all about customer service. Highly recommend a stay. "

Great Location - Home A Bit Worn

"We loved the location, but the home was loaded with spiders, most appliances did not work (dishwasher did not work, blender, toaster oven, the stove top only half worked) - plus the pots were scratched (and with Teflon not useable) The shower door was broken and would not close, the toilet paper roll holder had no dowel to hold roll, toilet seat very loose, door frames were chipped and dirty, hold in wall next the bed in room with bunkbeds, laundry closet had missing doors. "

Charming home close to beach with fast WiFi & washer/dryer - dog-friendly

A home that lives up to its pictures!

"It was as cute as it looked on-line and gave us a great space for hanging out and enjoying each other's company. That said, I would recommend that you rent this with loved ones as privacy is limited because of the indoor design. With no insulation or dry wall every noise is heard throughout the house! Other nice surprises: new AC units (very quiet), very comfortable beds, and an outdoor shower with good light. The street is very quiet. I was surprised that basic kitchen supplies weren't included (foil, Saran Wrap, basic seasonings, etc). Easy enough to fix, but having such a short stay, I would have brought these things along with me if I new they wouldn't be there. The property manager was very responsive with our two little problems (no frying pans without chipped teflon and the grill was dirty). Overall a great stay and we would definitely consider renting again."

"This property is steps away from the ferry, steps away from the beach and steps away from food, drinks and music. We had a great time. Cassie greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed!!!! She also went out of her way to make my daughters 21st birthday special. Highly recommend this property."

Steps from the Bay

"The owner Diane met me at the ferry and was as helpful and friendly as she had been from my first inquiry. She walked me to the cottage which I found to be very clean and beautifully decorated. Nothing was dusty or worn. The beds are firm and comfortable with top quality linens. She even supplied dish soap and a new scrubber. I had brought my own in case needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and herbs for cooks like me. Diane was always easy to reach and pleasant to deal with. When the TV died she immediately the next day had a new one brought over and installed without delay or excuses. The kitchen appliances were clean and worked well, including a coffee grinder! I usually have to bring mine out. The deck furniture was in good condition with clean comfortable cushions. Breakfast outside with the birds was relaxing. The cottage is small and cozy. It was fine for me as a single guest and had everything I needed. Diane couldn’t have been a better host. I’m looking forward to going back next summer. "

"We stayed one night and this hotel was awesome. First, they allow a 11:30 am check in which is rare. We were visiting friends so we dropped bags off and came back late night but it was convenient be able to do so. The room was immaculate and even though the bathrooms are shared, you get the full bathroom to yourself when you use it. The location is great just outside the ferry terminal. It’s very loud at night but we brought earplugs. Most importantly, staff are very friendly and held on to our bags until 2 pm the next day. They also offer coffee, fruits and pastry bites which was unexpected. In conclusion, well worth the money and I highly recommend. "

Spacious Dog-Friendly Home with Renovated Kitchen and Bathrooms

Nice house, fantastic location

"This house was very nice, as pictured or better. Clean, no issues checking in or out. Wagon was there as promised, more bikes than promised, lots of beach towels and chairs provided. The house had two wonderful outdoor second story decks with great views of the water and the ferry dock. Location was perfect, so convenient to ferry and market. Two things not great. Although it had an AC unit in every bedroom that all worked fine which made ground floor cool and comfortable, the main living area on the second floor only had one small unit, not adequate at all. Kitchen is very poorly stocked with almost no glasses at all, several other key things you need for cooking most meals not there. Overall, this was a very nice rental, and I have rented many in Fire Island and I would definitely come back"
