The only reason I did not give the Area 5 stars is because we felt the parking lot was a little dark. Maybe a little more lighting. We will definitely stay there next time in Lafayette. "

"It was ok. For some reason or another I've been having bad luck w smoke detectors being dead and that 2min beep last cpl hotels. Room was very spacious, bed was really soft, had like a small 2nd room with love seat kind of chair. Sink, microwave, fridge, area. Not a fan of connecting rooms, but had huge deadbolt latch. Im guessing from the trees, the area stays cool and damp. Unfortunately a few palmetto bugs here and there. Was in late and out early, staff were helpful and friendly. "
