"It was closed your Pic was from a year ago it is covered in scaffolding and not open for 6 months I paid in advance and had to pay again at a sister Hotel (Raddisson) who demanded £2900. when I had pd over £3400 to Expedia. "The Hotel du Vin and Bistro seems to be one of the nicest hotels in Old Edinburgh, close to all of the main tourist attractions. I loved the L'Occitane products in the bathroom. The service was a little lacking, but I would stay there again. "

"You cannot ask for a better property than The Scotsmen Hotel. The grand look and atmosphere really make you feel like royalty. If arriving by train (which I highly recommend), the train station is right across the road for your convenience with bags. A little tip, the door that is on Market Street that looks like a service door will lead to a lift so you don't have to trek up the mountain of Scotsmen Stairs with your luggage. Just out the other side of the hotel you are not even a whole block...
