"The hotel is in a great area of the New Town. Close to restaurants, cafes and shops as well as easy walking to all the main sights. Our room was great - clean, comfortable, brilliant shower and controllable air con which was a huge plus in the unusually warm weather we had! Highly recommended"

"I initially booked this hotel out of convenience. It was located near to both Haymarket Station and the Usher Hall. That was my main concern. I was totally amazed by the helpfulness, the friendliness, and the professionalism of the staff at the hotel. They were all outstanding! This was such a surprise to me as Id only expected a basic bed for the night. The room was immaculately clean, and the bed was SO comfy. They provide an early check in and a late check out facility, which was ideal for my arrangements. I couldnt fault one thing about this hotel. "The accommodations are lovely. First and foremost is the staff. We were greeted with attentiveness, friendliness, and champagne! The location is very central, near Waverly Train Station which separates Old Town from New Town. We took a train to Pitlochry for a couple of days, and the hotel was even kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we were gone. This may well be our new favorite place to stay in Edinburgh in the future. Highly recommend it. "
