"Fantastic well appointed apartments and updated amenities with full kitchen, good quality beds, nice gym, small but convenient business center and super friendly staff (every single front desk employee both daytime and evening are welcoming and helpful). Only one negative is laundry room, although very convenient, machines and overall laundry could use an upgrade. In general the hotel is quiet despite the busy rooftop restaurant. "

Close to Times Square, subway stations, Bryant Park, etc. We choose this versus a hotel due to the space of our party of 5 - 2 adults, 3 teenagers. "Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent location! We were able to walk to Time Square in just a few minutes. It is close to many restaurants, conviene stores, and Broadway theaters. It was a little small for the 5 of us, but we made it work just fine, and found the price to be reasonable. Alex the host addressed our needs. The luggage room was very convenient, as we got there early/left after check-in, so we had a place to store our bags. Felt very safe there!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this property, especially being so close to the subway and nearby bodegas. One thing, one of the mattresses was rock solid — the owners should invest in at least a mattress topper. The water in the shower gets extremely nice and hot, and the other tenants were very friendly. Another weird thing, “an exterminator” came in the morning during one of the days we stayed around 9am, and tried to barge in and “exterminate”. That was uncomfortable, and he had a key. "I want to commend The Sanctuary NYC for their hospitality. Five stars all around. The apt we stayed in was very spacious for 6 people, included enough bedding and living space for all. Kitchen was clean and well equipped with all necessities. Bathroom clean and staff was always available to refresh your towels and linens if asked. " My family of 5 met in NYC to meet and celebrate my son's birthday. He lives in NYC but came to stay with us and his siblings. We had a wonderful weekend. There was plenty of room to spread out but we were also able to spend time together in the living room. The property manager was SUPER responsive and attentive. We did feel VERY cold in the unit and the WiFi was very slow (neither of which I informed the property manager about but will so it can be resolved)."
