"We have ridden our bicycles down the Asbury boardwalk for years, and have always wanted to stay at the Berkeley. Its location and architecture are iconic, as is its history! So We stayed there many nights recently, knowing it’s off season. Of course the pool was closed, as was the restaurant. At least the sports bar was (sometimes) open and usually jumping. "the (732)793-1735 number does not work or no one answers but I received a call back from a Mr.Muhammad who was very friendly, accommodating & very helpful. the rooms are clean but very cramp & there are no closets or places to hang clothes. only other furniture in the room were 2 nightstands with a lamp with 3 small drawers & a desk with no chair. we stayed in a very nice single bed room during a very cold & very windy rainstorm. outside cold air leaked thru around the A/C unit below the window....
