"An absolute joy. We arrived a bit early and sat by the pool until the owners arrived. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom and the bathroom were perfect. We made use of the bath and shower. Plenty of hot water. The property is situated in beautiful quiet surroundings and we made use of the lovely swimming pool. "My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and the standard has now been set very high! We were welcomed by our hosts who offered and had a drink with us before recommending and booking a traditional French restaurant in town for us. The room was immaculate - styled beautifully and very clean. We slept so well and then were treated to a wonderful and plentiful breakfast. I could not recommend La Maison du Poëlon...

"This is a rural restored farm house. We used it as a base for a day trip (3.5 hrs) to Andorra while being able to make it back to Paris in a day. Visited some nearby wineries as well! Breakfast was good. Room and bath clean with nice hot shower. Only issue was lack of ventilation in room. No ac so had to open windows ( without screens) until attacked by mosquitos!"

"This property was OK for us though we couldn't arrive before 1730. Dan did let us leave our bikes while we went off to find somewhere to have a drink. We felt very much that we were living in someone else's house e.g. the bathroom had all of the owners stuff still in it. Breakfast was fine. Usually French fare."
