"The hotel was very clean, had large spacious rooms and had friendly staff. We have stayed there before and chose it to celebrate my mother in laws 75th birthday. We have a large family and reserved 8 rooms with 2 being suites. We had relatives come in from KY and PA to celebrate. They have a very large open room with multiple tables, couches, a piano etc. We used this room to gather, visit and play games. "This was part of our sweetheart weekend getaway that my fiance and I do every weekend. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area surrounding the property wasn't much, but it's conveniently located off the freeway. Our room was average with no complaints. Nothing special to write about with this property. "Glidden House is my second home. I come to Cleveland to avail myself of its fine cultural institutions, most of which are within easy walking distance of GH. The hotel offers the amenities common to most hotels (although the breakfast stands alone). Most importantly to me, it has what typical hotels of our day lack: charm and character. "

"Stayed for 1 night. The room looked like it was recently remodeled. It was clean and nice. Location is near the airport. Decent hot breakfast. 2 things were missing but I won't deduct a star for it were: bathroom had no shampoo and the room had no safe. Overall I would stay again. The price was very competitive for the area."

"This is one of the nicest looking hotel I've stayed at accross the country. From the Waldorf Astoria to Beverly Hilton this hotel is grand. While Cleveland is not "New York City or Beverly Hills" the proximity of this hotel to so many great venues in this friendly city was a truly great experience. From Playhouse Square, to East 4th Street, to the Flat and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - this is a trip worth making again. "

"We actually had planned on staging at an Air B&B, but it was horrible so we needed somewhere to stay for 3 days that was close and had rooms. Expedia was a great help getting us a deal and we ended up loving the hotel. The couches and fireplace in the lobby were our favorite. A nice place to read a book. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also above average. The other thing we loved was how close it was to everything, we didn’t move our car for 3 days. Very pleased with everything. "
