"We had a wonderful stay. The views are spectacular. The garden delightful. It is Quiet and extremely private. The kitchen worked well for our needs. The tower feels warm and inviting, and all the furniture was comfortable. We loved falling asleep to the stars and waking with the sunrise. Restaurants, stores and ocean bluff trails are all within walking distance. Looking forward to visiting at another time of year where we can enjoy the garden and deck more. "Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed. "I spent 4 nights at the Oceanview Inn between Christmas and New Years Eve, and found the staff to be extremely friendly. The property is located along a walking/bike path that connects to the Crescent Harbor and the lighthouse (with Sea Quake Brewery along the way). And even though the property is located along Hwy 101, from my room on the back side, looking out at the harbor’s jetty protected ingress/egress point, I could not hear cars at all. Just seals and fog horns when the conditions warranted. The property is very clean and the breakfast consisted of bagels/toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee/latte/espresso machine. Nice property and I would stay there again."
