"The Ocean View Retreat was exactly that. Perfectly located near beach, restaurants and nature hikes. Wonderfully appointed and stocked. Comfortable beds. Powerful showers. "Excellent house - beautiful views. Rented flat downstairs - you can hear them walk around but the same probably applied to us for them from us walking upstairs! Close to the town centre - you can walk or an easy 2 minute drive. 4 levels in the home so not suitable for anyone unable to use stairs. Spa is amazing. Plenty of towels. Kitchen had everything you need. Stores in cupbaord need clearing out. 2 x wardrobes unable to use - one locked - other one has owners belongings. Communication was...

"This place is perfect. Well equipped with everything you need for a restful break. Cozy yet modern and very clean. "Location suited us but the driveway is very steep making parking hard.Beautiful views, but the house needs some dating. Blinds falling off the windows, no instruction manual, no dishwashing liquid. Beds very hard. Very steep internal stairway."

"David was so kind to us and was very helpful, told us where some good spots in the area were, kept in touch with us. Nice space, 4 adults staying had plenty of room for all of us. Would definetely recommend and will be coming back if we’re ever in auckland again."

"Great way to spend a night away with the family, great location right next to the beach and the sound proof room is amazing, an added bonus they had a show and fireworks at the surf club the night we stayed so that was awesome free entertainment. We will definitely be back thanks staff."
