It was as beautiful and as quite and peaceful as we remembered the first time, and as we knew what to expect, we had an amazingly relaxing getaway. "We go to Bendigo every year for the Bendigo Chamber Music Festival and one of the best things about it is "our" little Rowan Cottage. It's so comfortable, has a delightful garden at the back, and there are always goodies on our arrival (e.g. a cake and/or a bowl of fresh strawberries). The hosts, Julie and Gary, are very friendly and communication is easy. Highly recommend !"

"The stay is close to both Sheparton and Echuca, so we drove to both the two places.The cottage is really nice, there were plenty of amenities provided by the host (Mary), so we can cook and clean like we're at home. We were lucky on of the days, the sky was clean so we can see the starry sky clearly!"

"The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Apart from the house there were so many outdoor areas to relax in, verandahs on 3 sides, beautiful gardens and a fire pit area. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless and best of all stocked with freshly baked anzac biscuits,...
