"This is like a home stay and the host, Cherry is awesome, She picked us up from the station, have given us all the details about local sightseeing. The room is big, has a nice balcony and you get a cool panoramic view of the mountain and sea. The breakfast was awesome and the property is too clean and tidy. You will get a refrigerator inside room. I will love to stay here again, once I make a plan for Monterosso, Cinque Terre.This stay was actually beyond my expectation."

"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

"We were visiting Monterosso as part of a roadtrip through Italy. We got caught in traffic and realised we'd never make it to the hotel by the cut off check in time so we called the number provided which lead to a message in Italian. "Hotel 5 Terre was a nice location for access to Monterosso and the train station to the other Cinque Terre villages. Parking and breakfast included makes it worthwhile! It’s an older property so don’t expect a lot of modern amenities, but it certainly serves its purpose. WiFi worked so that was a plus! Staff was helpful. "

"Hotel Porto Roca is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are brand new - super clean, modern, wonderful bathroom. Our room was a 2 room suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea - absolutely stunning views. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a large selections. Hotel offers transportation to and from main part of town - a very short walk but with luggage transportation is was very beneficial. Highly highly recommend this hotel . "

"Very nice house with friendly and helpful staff. Its a up hill walk of a medium distance. A bit difficult if you have baggage. Breakfast is not included. But just a 5 minute walk to the beach and Monterroso's esplanade. Old town is about 15 minutes walk along the sea. Plenty of eateries starting from the moment you come down the hill."
