"Getting to and from the hotel with out a car is very expensive. Even taking city bus which is paid for by hotel, there are many steep hills or steps to climb up from train station. Checked in the staff very nice. In room. No toilet paper, not even an empty roll. Had to go ask for it. The room had paper garbage under table. Breakfast was included but not much to speak of. I would never go back. Legs all bit up in the morning. Bed very uncomfortable and room very tiny. "

"The pluses for this apartment is the view, the beds, air conditioning and the garage. The property has a great view but is not lakeside so a bit misleading. I always read reviews before booking, and had noticed comments about lightbulbs, shower, etc. As these comments were made as far back as 2 years ago and the management always responded with promises to fix the issues, I decided to go ahead. "Balkon mit See- und Weitsicht sowie zentrale Lage super! Kücheneinrichtung vernachlässigt, unbrauchbare Bratpfannen, defekte Herdplatte, lärmender Kühlschrank etc. Kommunikation nach meinem Hinweis zum Zustand abgebrochen. Homepage funktioniert nicht zuverlässig, daher Zahlung sehr mühsam. Empfehlung, sobald sämtliche Mängel behoben sind."

"Location and staff were great. The walls are thin so it was pretty noisy because of the loud guests. Obviously the hotel can’t do much about that. The location and friendly staff made it a super pleasant stay. "

"Room was large and airy, view from small balcony was beautiful over the lake, worth the extra for a room with a view. We used the free Ticino card the hotel give, to take the funicular up to Mount Bré. Breakfast was pleasant although coffee was not very nice. Not sure why there were peas & carrots on offer at breakfast never seen this before is it a Swiss thing?? Bar underneath the hotel was good. Unfortunately we had rain so didn’t go to the sundeck. "

"We wanted an elegant Italian hotel full of style, and this hotel certainly delivered. Our room was upgraded to a lake view, presumably because the hotel wasn’t full. Everywhere you looked there was art work, beautiful decor and a luxurious feel, without being overwhelming. The staff could not be more helpful and professional, particularly the concierge. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food. The bed was quite firm and the cute balcony would have been the perfect place to sit and relax looking at the lake, had it not been for the weather - it rained! However, we would love to return to the hotel some time in the future, with fingers crossed for sunshine."
