Maafushivaru Vacation Packages

We stayed in hideaway from 22/4/24 till 26/4/24.It’s a little disappointing when you go to a high rating place like this and have the following issues arise: 1.) after all of what happened below, we went to speak to the manager, and he told us to come at 6:30 am before we left to meet with the other manager. However there was no manager on the island at 6:30am 2.) we paid for half board and ended up paying around $7.5 for tap water every time we had a meal when you assume that it’s included for dinner. 3.) left our belongings at the sea activities desk and was told it would be taken care of, after we were done, we came back to find our belongings were taken by other guests. Whilst waiting, they only offered 1 small bottle of water to me and my wife. 4.) rented a jet ski that had mechanical issues. 5.) we wanted an umbrella sun bed, and the worker told us that 4/5 were broken. He then Fixed one with adding a pin that looked as if it was deliberately taken out, and waited as if he was waiting for a tip. 6.) the servers at one of the bars would completely ignore us unless we raised our voices to be heard. 7.) went on a dolphin boat ride and were there were 6 of us. The worker only offered 4 bottles of water. 8.) last day we ordered a low fat latte, and the worker said that they have never had low fat milk after we have been ordering it for 4 days straight. 9.) we were told to get up at 6 am to leave the island at 7 am when our half board package includes breakfast from 7am

Spent 6 nights with wife and location lives up to reputation as all time great romantic getaway. Was never once bored. Beautiful blue water, great snorkling on island, didn't see a mosquito once, great food, and peerless service. Our host Maudey went above and beyond, even finding super glue for us when something unexpectedly broke. 5.8 underwater dinner was a highlight, and we did dream island on last night, which was fun after seeing it in the distance during stay.

A little further out from Malé (50 minutes seaplane flight), COMO Maalifushi lies on a small 800 meters island. It is a human size property of about 60 villas and suites, some of them on the water. We spent 10 days on a water suite with 2 kids (family of 4), half board. We stayed there late July, a bit before the summer break boom, and before the "high season" (December to March), which gave us the opportunity to be on the island in a low occupancy time of the year. The staff was simply outstanding, we were truly treated like privileged guests. The amenities are top of the game, from a pristine spa, to the bar and 2 restaurants, it was just perfect, surrounded by a local reef with plenty of marine life. Our water suite was easily suitable for our family of 4, about 110 m2 (1200 sq feet), the layout was perfectly designed, with a superb deck featuring a private pool and direct access to the ocean, we enjoyed snorkeling directly from our private deck. The property is small, but it's easy to get around with the bikes provided to each guest. The kid's club has amazing activities for the younger ones. Activities for guests include snorkeling, diving (5 stars PADI dive center), kayaking, sport fishing etc. There is really nothing negative to say about this resort which, in my mind, ranks easily among the top 10 in the Maldives.

Stayed here for a couple nights and it was actually better than expected. However the weather can go from storms to tropical sun in minutes and we were lucky enough to have sunny days. The rooms were excellent with an amazing view. What surprises me the most was there food it was amazing breakfast buffet and dinners. I definitely recommend staying here the staff are very welcoming and attend to ur needs.
