You cannot ask for a better property than The Scotsmen Hotel. The grand look and atmosphere really make you feel like royalty. If arriving by train (which I highly recommend), the train station is right across the road for your convenience with bags. A little tip, the door that is on Market Street that looks like a service door will lead to a lift so you don't have to trek up the mountain of Scotsmen Stairs with your luggage. Just out the other side of the hotel you are not even a whole block away from the royal mile, which is amazing. And the location is perfect to get to New Town as well. Definitely will be back when we come for another Scotland visit.

Bathroom has no lock in flat 203, they didn’t even provide handwash liquid soap. Curtain half broken in living room and dining room. Limited utensils. Heater not so effective.
