"Boutique type accomodations. Excellent location to many dining and shopping options on Saint Denis and carre St Louis. Access to rooms is a bit quirky but easy to figure out. We had to wander around a bit to find our room. Only stayed one night but found the few interactions we had with the staff to be accomodating and friendly. "

Boxotel Montreal

4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (898)
"Conveniently located near busy areas, this is a new building in an otherwise older and what some might consider a rougher type of neighbourhood. To me, this comes with the territory of being near busy areas, just be realistic about your expectations. I did come back a few times to find a homeless person in the entrance seeking shelter. New building with very high tech things like power curtains, sit stand desk, nice shower, very comfy bed. Might take a lil bit of tinkering to figure it all...

"Rooms were clean, service was good, location was close to both Metro and shopping/restaurants. Our only complaint would be due to the age of the building it was not very private/quiet. We could hear our neighbours and people in the hall, and with older wooden floors, unfortunately our downstairs neighbours complained about our child running around in the room in the late afternoon."

Hyatt Place Montreal - Downtown

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1126)
"Went with children, it was close by to malls and dining locations that we walked everywhere. The room and breakfast and staff and everything else about the hotel was wonderful. Pool is small and towels are not always replenished in time, but I asked front desk and they brought some. The only hiccup was parking, very low ceilings, SUVs may have trouble getting in and out. And there was limited spots. We were hoping to commute around the city, but due to limited parking, we parked and walked."

"I’d say you get what you pay for. I didn’t read the Google reviews before booking, but we chose the second most expensive option here. Honestly, the location is great—I loved how close it was to everything. That said, since it’s right downtown and next to a club, it did get a bit noisy on Friday night. The room was very clean, though the bathroom could use some improvement—nothing major, just small things. Overall, for the price we paid, I’m pretty happy with it. "

"The location is very convenient and the check-in | check-out were very fast. The only thing we didn't like was an employee at the breakfast on Saturday morning, she was the only female and her name was Frida or Pia. Maybe she was going through a lot or having a bad day but her behavior was extremely unfriendly. We asked her a couple of questions regarding some breakfast items and she was very rude. Plus, at 10:30 am when she was cleaning everything she didn't care about the hotel clients. She...
