"The staff were super nice and sweet but the non-refundable booking isn’t great especially given that there can be unexpected extreme weather conditions that can make it very difficult to get there. Also, the pictures must be quite old because while this place is still very Japanese and beautiful it has fallen somewhat into disrepair. "I have visited this property four times since 2012. The hotel is beautifully nestled in the forest and lit up with pin lights, the rooms are lovely and spacious and come with a deep plunge bath. It is convenient to walk to the slopes, on the main shuttle service and one can walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and ski rentals.
