"We have stayed in many places around Hawaii, and this location quickly rose to the top spot. The views are specatcular, the rooms spacious and service is top notch all around. Loved the prearranged airport transportation and the ability to rent a Tesla for the day....right from the resort. "

"Hawaii is expensive enough without having to gouge clients $35 a day to park, really felt that was a slap in the face. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and the pool is nice. Nice central location for the town itself. Area is VERY NOISY in the early am if you are in the east tower. Lots of delivery trucks backing up etc."

"First time staying at Mauna Kea, and I loved it! - beautiful building & room design and furnishings - the beach is wonderful. sandy entry, protected cove, great for distance swimming - friendly and helpful staff"

"Wonderful staff. Updated lobby, patio, pool area. Great location. Free parking around the corner. Enjoyed having a balcony. Only complaint is they could update their flooring and towels. Beds were comfortable. "
