"This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. "

"We loved our stay but there is obviously newer and older parts of the hotel and we were in the older part which wasn’t too bad as the room was updated but didn’t have a microwave (they charge $10 a day for rental of one) and everything costs a lot of money, from parking to food, to activities (like a luaus at the hotel would have cost us $400 on top of what we paid to stay here and the “resort fees “ we saw at the end of our stay during checkout. "Amazing stay. Everything was outstanding! Pools were amazing. Loved the adult infinity pool, family pool was huge so not crowded, tons of chairs. Good food options, although pricey. We definitely splurged on this stay but it did not disappoint! "
