"Wonderful accommodation and a very nice pub. Sadly there were problems - mainly a pub with no beer! Food service was slow and my meal was disappointing; my starter was inedible and the main course was definitely NOT what I was expecting from the menu. My meal was changed and was deleted from the bill. This was a proper response and was much appreciated. Would I go back? Yes - I think we would as it’s such a nice place and I would give them a second chance."
"First time staying at Mollies and we would stay again!
We are a family of 4 so the connecting rooms were great for us and meant we weren’t all in the same room
A few minor issues were fixed quickly and the service was very professional and friendly
We ate at Mollies diner for tea and breakfast and both were good - lots of choice on the menus and kids menus available
Able to pre book a car charging socket as well :)
Bus direct to Oxford stood right outside the motel so no need to drive

"A lovely location with wood/lake walks directly adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact, but clean and well equipped with welcome gifts of water and biscuits. Bed good, shower reasonable, but TV a little small for the room size. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. All staff were ultra helpful, attentive and polite. Overall recommended."
"Amazing attention to detail from start to finish, complimentary drink on arrival, show to room and all particulars explained, great facilities in room including home baked cookies in a jar!
Lovely decor throughout and very convenient location. Highly recommended "
"We received a friendly welcome. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The meal we had in the restaurant in the evening was absolutely delicious and good value for money, as was breakfast the following morning. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!"
"The staff were so friendly, as well as the locals in the pub.
Breakfast was great as well as evening food.
Couldnt find fault with this beautiful little place, within easy reach of getting arould by car."
"Good venue for dog owners. Adjacent fields and walks . Bedrooms for dog owners a little tucked away .
Gorgeous food but pricey . Breakfast good but let down by tepid coffee and cheap bread for toast . Overall very comfortable."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the pub/restaurant on site. The breakfast area is separate from the pub area, which we thought was a nice touch. Room was a good size (it was the Stratton Suite). Water was great pressure in the shower. Just one small thing. The door at the top of the stairs needs some WD40!"
"Good location. Stairwell to rooms had loose handrail but everything else was good.
Good entertainment in room. Available food was fine but got brioche bun when ordered a bap. "
"Very quaint, great atmosphere being a pub downstairs with rooms above. It wasn’t noisy even on the weekend. We had a large room for 3. Breakfast choices were fabulous. The staff in the dining room were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely return to the Blue Boar. "

"Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet style and one of the nicest buffet breakfasts we have had, with a very good range of options. We also used the pool, poolside jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There are towels in the spa area for you to use and shampoo, conditioner and shower wash in the changing room showers. There are also lockers which you use a PIN code to lock, so no change needed.
We walked into Oxford along the Thames river path and enjoyed not being right in the centre. It took us around 15 minutes to get into Oxford and probably only 10 minutes to get the Christ College from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel had everything we needed, as well as enabling us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. "

"Superlative staff, room accommodations were perfect. Close to the High Street , Magdalen, but tucked just enough away to avoid extra noise. Loved it!"

"Love this Hotel. Recommend getting a cell on 'A block' upper levels. There's something very cool about exiting your room onto the prison landing with all the cells lined up. Very nicely appointed rooms, a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was top notch. Town and station are minutes away on foot.
Be sure to check out the original cell on the ground floor or visit the old jail museum next door. "
"It was outstanding. My first time in Oxford for a World Summit and this hotel made my stay even better and more memorable. Thank you from New Jersey, United States. "
