« My daughter and I had a studio on the second floor facing the street. It was advertised as each studio having a balcony or patio but no. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and we enjoyed it even without balcony. The building is older so you could hear the people walking back and forth in the room above us. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the location was awesome. It was a very nice experience in Charleston. »

« Very comfortable and clean location. The employees at the location were very kind and helpful. One made quite a few odd and kind of rude comments toward me, but other than that the stay was wonderful. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was enjoying exploring Chareston, the building was in a great central location on King Street. Made walking and biking a breeze. »

« Lodge Alley Inn is a lovely, clean, charming place right in the heart of Charleston's historic district. The room was as described. The staff were friendly and helpful. Important to be aware your room may be multilevel with lots of stairs. Also, you may not be communicating directly with the owner. « The property met all expectations. We were super comfortable and the location was convenient. The scenic walk path was an added bonus! We were pleasantly surprised to find the house decorated for Christmas with a present beneath the tree. This was a particularly warm and welcome touch as we were spending Christmas away from home. There was a minor plumbing issue but this was addressed as soon as we reported it. I recommend this property and host without hesitation. »
