"It was small and quaint. The guy who ran it was very nice. We could tell he lived the place and wanted everyone’s stay to be a good one. There are less than 20 rooms total and each room has its own beach theme which we thought was super cute! It’s right across the street from the beach and has a cute community deck with seating to enjoy the view. We go the last room available which was right in front of the check in office. That was a little awkward as our window was only a few feet away so we could clearly hear each other talking and if we opened our window we could see the manager. But we spent most of our time outdoors so it wasn’t too bad. "

"If you need to go to HB, this is your best affordable hotel option. It is a wonderful hotel, and convenient to the freeway and general shopping, but the area is very congested and not at all appealing. Not the fault of the hotel."
