"Hostess that checked us in was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area which was greatly appreciated. Room was well maintained and clean with microwave and mini-fridge/freezer. My only comments are the shower water pressure wasnt the best (but totally serviceable) and the door/door frame had settled and left a small gap on the top and bottom. Overall was a great experience for a budget weekend trip in/out of Charleston."

"I stayed at the Motel 6 with my husband and two dogs, for two nights, for leisure. I had a good experience right from the beginning, the front desk was amazing and made us feel at home right away. "The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
