"I have to say that this hotel’s website doesn’t do the hotel justice. We booked expecting a nice, lower-priced hotel that would mainly be a place to sleep between adventures. What we got was a wonderful hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The only negative experience we had was no fault of the hotel; someone stole our water bottles when we left them unattended on the beach. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it."

"We loved the family vibe and old charm and especially the ocean view, the wild chickens and the cat that chased them BUT the bed in our ground floor King Ocean View room was terrible. One side sloped down terribly and was very uncomfortable. Replace the mattress, and remodel the bathroom (tub has badly patched holes, perhaps from former jacuzzi, and toilet is so low that it was low for me at 5’ 2” and crazy for my husband at 6’ 4”. Year out the tub and retile just as a shower, replace shower...
