"Cozy place. The pictures show nice hardwood flooring but it's been changed since then to lvp - no big deal. We made good use of the well-stocked kitchen (replenish the salt btw). The owner helped me out with info about my car rental and remote. Many thanks. Saw a moose on the 2nd day hanging out by the roadside."

"I was on my 3rd trip to Anchorage within the last 2 years and I wish I had found out about this property on the first trip. (I had stayed at a hotel and another property from a different site, which were okay but that was about it.) It is situated on the hillside within a short drive of Anchorage and not too far from the Glen Alps parking area. It is in a nice, quiet area, with beautiful views and is a very comfortable to stay at. I can fully understand why this place has a perfect...

"In the foothills overlooking Anchorage. Liked the location. Downstairs apartment with quite a few stairs so not good for anyone with problems walking or toting heavy suitcases. Some upstairs noise. Living room and kitchen quite small but we made do as we were gone most of the time. More suited to a couple than three though and not really set up for cooking meals. Two nice size bedrooms. Full size bathroom but could use some updating. Lovely porch with view of city. Nice quiet neighborhood."

"It wasn’t the most fancy place we’ve stayed, but the amazing sunsets and sunrises, daily views of Denali, and the location were perfect! You do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle if coming in winter or spring as the driveway and road leading up to it is steep and icy."
