Not sure if thats the normal smell or someone has fallen behind on cleaning.The worst part of the trip was dealing with vacasa. I do not care for their customer service and dislike supporting their company.It is really a special spot and would like to stay again-- would love to do so without having to deal with vacasa. "Worjed perfect for us. Walking distance to lift, or a quick drive. We foundntge Sauna to be a nice ammenity and loved the steam shower. There were 2 families and the split levels offered some privacy in the mornings with a little coffee and MIL kitchen downstairs. Would be an excellent place to stay any time of year!"

"I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our accommodations in Girdwood. Pat and Lynne were wonderful hosts. The property was just perfect for myself, the wife and our 10 year old.
