"Fantastic hotel. The staff here are brilliant, especially the ladies on reception who looked after my flower show purchases for me over the weekend. A genuine, warm and welcoming experience. Breakfast was excellent, our room was lovely. The air con was a treat! Can’t fault it and will definitely be staying again. Thanks again to the reception ladies! "

"It was a really nice place, very welcoming and friendly proprietors and staff. Good food and beer and they went the extra mile by putting a candle on my wife's dessert and sang 'happy birthday' to her. It made her day. "

"A really lovely, large traditional hotel. All the communal areas such as the bar and dining room are beautifully decorated with historical details. Room was spacious and comfortable. Good quality breakfast buffet was included. Staff attentive, professional yet friendly. An easy walk to shops and restaurants but tucked away up a quiet street on the edge of the town centre. Overall very impressed. Hope to return. "
