"Nice quiet area. Enjoyed the orange and lemon trees. Birds, frogs and bugs were quite noisy but could barely be heard when the house was closed up. A gallon pitcher, funnel and juicer would be helpful. "

"We had an amazing time with our family at the house. We had every thing we needed plus the most fantastic ocean views! Would definitely recommend! We had 9 adults and 1 child. It's a bit of a drive to swimming beaches and one of the bedrooms is only accessed by walking through another bedroom, but we would absolutely go again. The owners were nearby and very helpful too. "

"This suite was EXCELLENT for our family of 6. Short drive to Waikoloa, Hapuna and Spencer's Beach and only 30 min drive to Costco. GREAT location! The resort pool, tennis courts, ping pong table, fuse ball and large chess/checkers were a hit with it kids! Loved having access to the Waikoloa Community pool where I could swim lengths in the morning and could also hang out with the kids during the day. Will totally stay here again. "

"The guest house is conveniently located near downtown Hilo in a nice neighborhood. The place is roomy and has all the amenities you need. The bed is comfortable and everything is very clean. The hosts were easy to reach. Enjoyed my two week stay. Thank you."

"This is a 10 stay. The house is in a lush gardenic setting in a very quiet neighborhood. Christine was an excellent host and saw to our every need. The house was immaculately, clean with a beautiful upstairs balcony overlooking our lush yard. A wonderful place to have your morning cup of coffee. We stayed a few different places before reaching Christine‘s house, we were so pleased with her place that we canceled reservations elsewhere in order to stay at the lava house.
