"Greeted by an evening male receptionist with a very curious, disdainful manner, which set things off poorly. The lobby is charming and well decorated, conforming to era. Excellent coffee available in the morning. Hotel location is good, 10min walk to CTA trains (clean and orderly), and many restaurants and shops around. Of special note is the very helpful and pleasant day receptionist lady, made all the difference to our stay. "

The hotel is a little bit out of the way, in a more residential area, so it was quieter when were there earlier in November. The hotel is a unique building and has a lot of character with all of it's Cub's memorabilia. It is about a 15 minute walk to the red line.
