"Planters Inn is a quant little Inn in the heart of Savannah. The location is perfect for walking to everywhere you want to go in the Historic District. The staff was excellent and extremely accommodating and friendly. The wine and cheese happy hour along with a gentleman playing the piano in the lobby was a beautiful touch. There is a parking garage across the street which was convenient. The hotel room itself did lack some. The building is old and our room had a slight odor to reflect the age...

"I did enjoy my room and the hotel in general. Staff is nice and the location is top notch. The only issue I had with my stay is the valet ! They have a nice set up outside for convince to park with valet signs . These signs do not disclose any charge . Nor do they inform you at check in about any charges for the valet Then upon check out they tell you it’s a 43$ charge for valet !! Uh ok what can you do but letting people know should be required. You can park in any city for $50 but they tell...

"Very cool retro place in excellent location for enjoying downtown Savannah. We were attracted by the pet friendly designation, but between the $50 pet fee and a $20 parking fee, the rate became quite expensive for a basic old fashioned motel that’s been dressed up with bright paint and piped in rock and roll music. Some maintenance issues. Floor lamp and in room coffee maker didn’t work. Morning donuts and coffee were excellent. They need to repair their iconic neon sign. It was mostly dark...
