"There was a boarded up window in the stairway and dents in the walls in our room. The workout equipment was minimal and some of the equipment was broken. My husband was able to fix one of the machines well enough to get a good workout in. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable but the bed closest to the wall in our room had very uneven wear, probably due to how close the bed was to the wall. On the positive side, the hotel was quiet, check in was a breeze, even though we were late arriving, and the continental breakfast was superb. For the money and for what we needed it for, the room and hotel more than met our needs. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the service was both friendly and excellent. The week before, we were in a different hotel in a different city, snd paid twice as much for a lot less. This room had a full size desk for me to work on, a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, as well as a comfortable sitting chair and plenty of elbow room. The free breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs and either sausage or bacon, as well as options for waffles, bagels, muffins, and toast. Additionally, the restaurant/bar that is attached to the hotel had really good food as well; we definitely recommend the New England clam chowder and cheese curds! Great value! "
