"House was nice and we enjoyed our time there. Deer greeted us morning and evening and walked right to us, kids loved it. Location was great for our skiing trip. The drive way was super steep and was a problem for a flat lander like me and my minivan. That was the biggest area of concern for us. "

Plenty of room for everyone. This listing allows pets but you cannot tell. There is no odor, no hair ect. Which some in our party are sensitive to. I would bring tupperware, ZIP lock bags if you like to prepare meals during your stays. "

The home is clean and fully stocked with necessities in the bathrooms and kitchen. The decor is lovely. The beds are comfortable. It’s away from the hustle and bustle. "We spent three fabulous days here in June/July 2024. The property itself is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Communication with the owner was very smooth. The location is ideal for exploring the Shenandoah area and we enjoyed driving the Skyline Drive, a visit to Luray caverns and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. We came back in the evenings to eat out on the deck followed by relaxing in the hot tub and watching the spectacular sunsets. Very special memories made, totally recommended."
