"Really beautiful hotel, very friendly staff and amazing breakfast buffet (I only had breakfast booked but it was also no problem to have dinner with a friend there that did not stay at the hotel)! The staff was super friendly and forthcoming and the sauna and pool was very nice! Rooms were beautiful and very modern! Really loved it there and would book again anytime "

"This is a large and very comfortable hotel in the traditional style but much enlarged over the years. The location is a couple of miles outside Kirchburg with easy access to the skiing via a frequent bus which stops directly outside and serves the local lifts and through to Kitzbuhl. "Great location close to the best things to do in Austria for the outdoors within 1 hr drive. Lots of parking on site, very warm and welcoming owners who run the hotel. "We were only staying in Kitzbuhel for one night at the end of a ski trip, and most places in Kitzbuhel / Kirchberg either wanted a full 7-night stay or $600 for a single night, which seemed very steep. We checked in around 9pm & probably should have paid closer attention to the hotel amenities as we may have cut dinner short in Kitzbuhel to get the most use out of the amenities. "Very nice lobby and breakfast. Close to central walking area. The area around the back of our room, and the guests below our room, were very loud into the night. Difficult to sleep until things quieted down at 1am. Parking is off site, either 20 Euro per day at the closer parking lot, or free at the lot that is a 15 minute walk away (not fun if raining). "

Vacation accommodation in the middle of the Zillertal mountains

Well equipped apartment, with very attentive hosts - in fabulous location

"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. Gerda and Kurt are fabulous, helpful and welcoming hosts. Can honestly say in many years of self-catering in Europe, I've never met such attentive hosts. The apartment is well-equipped and the bedrooms are excellent. The village has a nice bar and a hotel / restaurant...but no shop."

"Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. My room was lovely, with a view of the Ziller Valley. The way the hotel is designed is really clever, linking up the two pools, indoor and outdoor rooftop, which are both wonderful, as are the saunas. Food is mainly buffet and high quality. The fresh fruit for breakfast (a facet of any good hotel in my view) was ideal. Great selection of fresh breads. I was surprised...my tarrif included breakfast, late lunch and dinner. Good value. The English equivalent would possibly be a 5 star hotel in many aspects. The staff seem to take a great pride in their work, as they should do. I used some of my rusty German, but English was well spoken by the staff. The area is lovely. I was unable to walk far due to a bad leg, but got up the Penkenbahn Gondola for a drink at the top to watch the paragliders at 2000m. It was stunning and a pleasant 17 degrees at height. I know it will be very busy come ski season, but I'm sure such a well-organised place will cope well. If my leg recovers, I would like to try the Zillertal ski area. Thanks go to all involved in this marvellous business. "
