Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!"

"Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. "We enjoyed staying at Gretchen's beautiful, quiet, cozy chalet, which was clean and roomy and stocked well with towels, toiletries etc. We enjoyed the chalet's gorgeous large window views in the living room. The home housed a media projector and a large screen, which served as a television. Thankfully, my son has technical skills and set this up for us. We appreciated the welcome board message that greeted our family and the very nice welcome gift for us, chocolate and a Shenandoah handbag!...

"Loved having the "secluded cabin in the woods feel" while still being within 20 minutes of the town of Elkton and one of the national park entrances. Convenient location for the national park explorers. Harrisonburg was not far either if you needed a bigger grocery store or restaurant options. Very clean and cozy! The hosts made us feel welcome with a thank you card and bottle of wine waiting for us in the kitchen. Would definitely go back!"
