"My boyfriend and his parents stayed here for a trail run we had in town. We all thought the protest was exactly as it shows online. It was clean and easy to get in and out of. Very close to the town and would definitely recommend. Will stay here again when coming back to town! Only thing we would mention, was that outside by the fenced in portion, there’s no lights (like a flood light) so taking the dog out to the bathroom at night we used our phone flash light. "It is a lovely, secluded property that could accommodate us all. It was well-appointed, including everything one might need. Check in and check out were easy, and the host responds quickly. I specifically looked for a property with a pool and this is listed with a pool--it actually has a small cool/cold spring-fed "hole" (maybe 7'x7')--if you go in, I recommend shoes, the silt is a little unnerving. "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious and beautifully designed, with a sprawling layout that offers both comfort and privacy. "We enjoyed the easy access to the highway. There were plenty of dishes and pans to cook meals. The grocery store is only 8 minutes away. Also, the porch right off the kitchen was nice for enjoying the sun and morning coffee. There were several board game options for evening activities. Two things to note for planning a stay at this home are there is not a dishwasher and the pull out couch is made out of assembling couch cushions, so it is not a sleeper sofa. "

Holiday Inn Asheville East-Blue Ridge PKWY by IHG

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a mountain view room and the room did not disappoint with a microwave and tall mini refrigerator. The room was also spacious for two people. The bed/ pillows were comfortable and most importantly, the shower water pressure was great! The side entrance doors (near the parking lot) are locked after 6p, which I found very safe, so not anyone can just come in. The gym, we didn't use, but it had an elliptical, treadmill and a selection of free weights. The outdoor swimming pool is currently being renovated. They didn't have coffee on arrival in the lobby but they had tea/ hot chocolate. The complimentary coffee was fresh in the morning in the lobby. The only irritating thing about the hotel was that the housekeeping knocking frequently before our 11am checkout to see if we had left our room. Both times, I had told her we are not ready and she was sorry for the interruption. The first time, she unlocked herself and was about to walk in when I walked up in time to tell her we were not ready to leave yet. Having said that, we will come and stay again. This hotel had everything we needed for our stay. "
