"What an awesome place! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back, but maybe I’ve found an excuse to visit now. Frank, the owner, text me first thing in the morning on the day of my arrival to ask if I needed anything. He greeted me upon arrival, showed me to my room and took the time to strike up conversation and talk to me about the things he thought I’d find interesting after he learned a little about my interests. "We were able to book online and show up 10 minutes later to check in around 1pm - before regular check-in time. We were taking refuge from the ice/snow storm and they had a room for us. I understand this experience is based on room availability but it was much appreciated! The staff was very helpful in helping us get anything we needed. The hotel was right next to the historic area of town but due to the weather we unfortunately couldn't take advantage."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. I just needed an overnight stay in my trip. I got there late, like 10:30 pm. They had turned on my ac and had my room all ready. Super sweet staff. Comfortable bed. Deep tub. Big room. Intend to stay again on trip home. "

"This is a great property!! The host is amazing and will respond quickly and do anything to help with your trip and experience. 10/10 recommend, I accidentally left a whole weeks worth of dirty clothes and she had no problem shipping them too NC for me!"

"Five sibling over 75 years oldstayed here for a family wedding. It's no secret this house is old.The interior is well maintained, and beautifully furnished with everything thing we needed. We especially liked the big dining table.The beds were wonderful. We walked to the Bruncherie for late breakfast..The steep steps to second floor bedroom swere a little daunting."

"The house was so comfortable and had everything one might need for a great stay in Iola. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies. Beds were very comfortable and tv channel and livestream options were great. We were there during the holiday season and the house had plenty of Christmas decorations, including a lighted tree. Enjoyed our stay very much!"
