"Gringo Perdido is a true slice of paradise—a perfect escape for both relaxation and adventure. Nestled amid the lush beauty of the Mayan landscape, on a serene lake, the resort is the perfect home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the meals are always fresh and delicious. The amazing staff (including the furry friends!) make this place even more special. This is a place we continue to day dream about and love to return to. Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"La Lancha is an amazing place to stay if you like nature. We enjoyed every minute during our stay. The staff is very accommodating and provides excellent customer service. We enjoyed the sauna (temascal), swam in the lake and the hotel crew helped us coordinate a boat sunset trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The sauna and boat is at an additional cost but is definitely worthy, They offer free continental breakfast and the food is good! We rented a car in Peten which gave us the freedom...
