"We stayed two nights in John Day, first night we stayed at Best Western. Big mistake it cost us $$$ more and we had issues; couldn't get hooked up to the internet, the coffee maker in the room didn't work, and the shower was more like a sand blaster than a shower. I didn't need any soap, due to loosing a layer of skin! Save yourself $$$ and a big hassle and stay at the Sunset... You can buy a pretty nice breakfast for $$$ you will save. "

"I am originally from Baker City, born and raised and have lots of family still there. My family of 5 and my parents decided to rent this beautiful historic home. The home itself was very clean and so cool with all the history and old charm. My family loves history and enjoyed the books about the original owners. The hosts were great, easy to communicate with and reasonable with request, allowing us to have a Thanksgiving gathering at the home. The house was very well stocked with necessities...

"This was a perfect place for our Christmas stay with friends in Enterprise. We had our own cozy place to come back too each night after hanging out with friends and family over the holidays. We loved how warm and inviting it was and really appreciated that they had a tree up and decorated for the holidays. Would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel was lovely, but we were told the entire hotel was pet friendly. My husband has allergies so we were concerned about pets sleeping in the bed previously. For this reason we would not book there again. I would suggest the hotel should keep at least one floor entirely pet free. Many people have allergies to animals.."
