"We loved our stay here. We knew we wouldnt be spending much time in the hotel, but would want a cozy and comfy place to sleep and it was perfect. The bed was super soft. I do wish I had known that breakfast was actually at the sister hotel a few doors down, so you can't just pop downstairs. Also, the king beds are two twins, but given the tight staircase it makes sense. It was easy to get around the city from here and was the perfect homebase."

"While the hotel is not in the safest part of SF, I never felt unsafe and it is certainly a great central location with access to all the tourist spots you want to visit. As with all big cities, keep your head up and whits about you while walking around. The staff at Phoenix were amazing! Super accommodating and so welcoming. Shout out especially to James. My only “complaint” is wishing there was a mini fridge in the room. We had some amazing meals with leftovers I would have liked to enjoy....

"I enjoyed the service and convenient location in the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not like to bathroom design which did not include enough lighting above the tub and toilet. I also had problems with the elevator being slow to respond and the TV having technical problems. . "
