"Overall nice grade 2 listed building would recommend. Done up well inside, enjoyed our 1 night stay. Only tiny thing was my main meal (sea bass) was a bit on the small but everything else ok. The room itself was nice with good shower and complimentry tea/coffee. Comfy bed. "

"Beautiful property. Loved the character of the old mansion and the decor within the home. Check in was pleasant and easy. The TV channel selection was good compared to other places in our travels, which helps with children. Rooms were clean, however there was no soap provided to wash your hands in the room, which was inconvenient. "Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude.
