"As part of a two-week tour, mostly of the Gaspe' , we ended at St. Anne des Monts and stayed one night at Manoir sur Mer. This hotel has been at this site for probably over a century, in different forms. It's an older building, well-maintained and appears to be family-run.The nicest part (because we were lucky to have good weather in early October, 2024) was it is literally on the beach, at ground level. "We returned to HPR for a stay because we LOVE this hotel and the people who work here. Each person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and informed on what they love in and around QC. We love the family/community atmosphere offered by the courtyard design, we loved the Saturday entertainment! Our only complaint - last time we visited, the pool was down for servicing, this time it was the hot tub. Of course you can’t predict a problem, but that was disappointing both times and there’s no compensation."
