"Let me start with the only downside about the property - the rooms are on the smaller side (ots an older building - thats just how they were made), but the fact that they manage to fit 2 queen beds in the room more than makes up for it. Now for the many positives - excellency location - just steps away from Times Square and minutes from any theater we attended. Beautiful art-deco style added to the overall ambiance, and the building is very well staffed and maintained. I would happily stay here again."

"We are repeat visitors to the Royal York and as usual we’re not disappointed. We were fortunate to arrive same day as the tree lighting and holiday kick off festivities. The hotel was a Christmas wonderland and the decorations all very tastefully designed. The room very comfortable and clean, we always feel safe. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub area and again very clean. We enjoyed the lobby bar to enjoy a few cocktails before the hockey game. The location is perfect, close to many amenities and Union Station across the road "

"I booked this hotel for a quick trip to the city and I was not disappointed! I read others reviews about the bathrooms, the long elevator waits, the rooms being small? We had the standard 1 King Bed room and it was HUGE for being a NYC hotel room? There was a hallway like area with the closest and the bathroom to your right when you walked in and it was huge! It was so roomy! I really recommend staying here! Ignore the reviews of everyone that has problems with minor hotel flaws. Maybe I just got lucky on room size, but when you stay in NYC, you should automatically assume the room is gonna be smaller"
