"Whilst it may feel a little dated and can be a little noisy in the evening, the facilities are good, and well kept. The beds were firm but comfortable and the pool & spa were very enjoyable. It’s also well positioned over the bay and within easy walk of the heart of Douglas. "

"Frequent bus service means you can save money staying at this hotel, mid way between the steam and electric railways, but still enjoy everything the island has to offer. As others have said, walls are thin so bring ear plugs. Also bear in mind if you’re bringing suitcases that there are no lifts. Wonderful welcome and friendly staff."

"The hotel is in a good location close the ferry terminal and restaurants pubs and shops. Breakfast was very good."

"Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff."

"Originally I was put in a room without a window which wasn’t great - the staff were helpful but I had to double up costs to get a sea view when the hotel wasn’t busy. I thought they could have been a bit more flexible on this "
