It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. "

"Had a family room in the annexe overlooking the river. Very spacious for us and the dog. The only negatives a bigger fridge would have been nice for a week's stay. And there was workmgoing on at the building next door so a bit noisy but would definitely stay again"

"We had a wonderful stay at Kate’s farm. I highly recommend staying there. Kate is very friendly and helpful she advised us where to go to find fossils. Breakfast was superb, cooked to order not a buffet service like most places these days. The bed was extremely comfortable and room and bathroom clean. We loved having our own garden door to let the dog out, but the best thing for me was feeding the five hedgehogs that come for their supper every night. There is also a fascinating nature reserve...

"Terrific central location, nice bar and restaurant. An old building so floorboards a bit creaky but rooms refurbished to a very high standard. Car park is tiny and usually full but there is a reasonable public car park just across the road, attached to a Morrisons supermarket, and we had no problems parking there."
