"Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. The restaurant offered good Swiss food and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were very nice. It’s right up the hill from the train station, so very convenient. They will pick you up if...

"We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Amazing hotel in a great place. Friendly staff, magnificent room of ample size for two people with magical view of Grindelwald valley and the mountains. Convenient location outside of town but easily accessible by foot, bus or car. Would most definitely stay here again."
